As somebody who has spent early years of life in hills, will always crave for hills over other areas. I still enjoy the river Ramganga over a nicely spread beach in Goa. The cow milk over a high tech Mother dairy Milk and game of Cricket along the banks of my village river then a Cricket Stadium,the jog in Lodhi Garden to a quite walk in forest overlooking my village. The life is very slow in the hills and some body who is accustomed to fast lane life in Metros for him it is a welcome change, but for how long is the bigger question? but can one live a life of quietness ? That is the question i keep asking myself again and again, whenever i think of hills as permanent native place. Zooming out from your drawing room to hills through a FB post is okay but can you shift in hills lock, stock , barrel ?A very tough ask.I have drooled over thissituation many times but have never been able to find a satisfactory reply to this. The financial, social roadblocks are the first hurdles which hit you once you think of a change. The situation in a village is far worse then social life in Metro. People respect and dis respect you according to your financial status not your IQ. I have time and again rescheduled my thoughts on this topic many times, as a traveler for a week it may be a welcome idea but to get to hills permanently seems a big herculean task. At least at this point in time, or may be i am still not enlightened with a bigger reason till now, till i find it , i will keep zooming out to hills at least in my thoughts and dreams.
