Surviving Recession..!

I have now seen many phases of life , but the best was when i was earning quite well and had lot of people on my beck and call. The good time doesnot last too long but good people does, this has been my thinking since the day i have hit the downward trend. The downward trend or recession teaches you many things and if you are not earning enough then you will also become a unnecessary commodity in lot of circles , be it opportunistic friends, colleagues, relatives and neighbors. I have seen this happening for past few years, i have fond memories of my pre- recession days, the crowd in the office, the Saturday parties, the long drives the after office gatherings, there are many i can not even recall now, but post recession everything has dried up, you are on to yourselves now with no spice in life. You are only living the natural stages of life, the only thing you find surrounded by the nature and infrastructure and no human will be seen around you. I once joked with a friend , there are two things which have not left me despite recession is my wife and my woodland shoes, when i told this to my wife , she got a little angry with the comparison, but that is the truth of my life. The confidence level have not come down an inch but the dependability of other humans have slided  drastically. I get lot of brickbats from my known circle though not very direct confrontation but i can read minds. There are these books who have not left me till date i keep going back to them for strength.The social circle keeps me busy and tied up. I have tried few things which could turn me into a millionaire but god seems not ready for it as of now. The struggle continues, but i am enjoying it and will soon reach there i know. It is a test of motivation which i taught while i was managing the business and now i am falling back on the same motivation so that i donot get affected by the consistent failures. I keep saying myself lot of stuff and keep reminding myself the good time i had while i was managing a business and looks like that is my forte and i will soon be there , up there managing my business with a big and better team.  Till then happy selling friends.
