The jantar Mantar candle March was a show of anger against the state and system , the atrocities faced by woman these days are becoming quite common and it was a spontaenous action against the system but at the same i would like to take the credit few individuals who came forward and took this initative of raised their voice against the atorcities the woman of... Uttrakhand are facing i would personally like to thank Mr Jai Singh Rawat, Dr Bacheti, Mr Sudarshan Rawat, Mr Surinder Rawat , Harish rawat, Dhirender singh Rawat, Mr Bhupal Singh Bisht , Vinod Singh Shahi and many others who i may not know personally but were quite active in their efforts. this march would not have become successful without their efforts. The gathering was good and people who were part of this candle march were concerned Uttrakhandis, and one can feel their emotions and anger in their speech and behaviour. the suggestions of creating a task force for following up these kind of cases was a welcome suggestion and a constant monitoring will be an absolute necessity to take this case to a logical conclusion. I was really motivated to see the gathering and the time has come to channelise these energies into a re
sult oriented force which can then play a role of catalyst to bring the culprits to the justice and at the same time we would put pressure on the respective governments to compensate the vicitms financially also.All in all good effort but the real challenge is how the same can be converted into actions and a proper result is brought out of these tragedies.
